The second incarnation of my blog

Something different:

Another new Parkrun event for my 9am Saturday 5k run, bringing my number to 21 locations. This time it was in Hatfield as the course launched at a “new” park that used to be the airfield where the De Havilland Comet was built and tested.  The final 1km was actually along a path that used to be wider as it was the taxiway. You can still see the control tower and a huge hanger which now houses a hotel, offices and a gym.

And in the late afternoon, I sat in retro Crystal Palace gear watching the cup final.  It was a tough game to watch, though the beer helped.  I have many mixed feelings about Man Utd winning the game, but will save those for another day.  I’m not overly disappointed though.
