My week – pain and pleasure

On Monday, the day after the half marathon, I was walking along and something went ‘twang’ in my left leg and it’s been ****ing painful since!

So my week has mainly been…

Though we have still been busy with an afternoon in London (a museum and pubs) followed by a concert on Thursday night.  East India Youth (one guy, not a group) played a small gig to end the tour and promotion of his album Culture Of Volume.  Pete found that just 100 tickets were available, with another 100 guests.  It was an interesting gig.  With a performance that is based on electronic music, samples and live playing, it’s always difficult to figure out what is truly live and what isn’t.  He’s a clever and talented guy though.  Here is one of the songs he played.

(Re: your foot) OMG! As Harry Hill once said – “I felt that!”
Doesn’t an audible ‘twang’ happen when the Achilles snaps, or so I’ve heard? Can’t write any more as I’m going to flake out just thinking about it. Oh, the pain!!!
Get healed quickly – by whatever means necessary.
