Stephen Chapman

The second incarnation of my blog

Stephen Sutton

stephen suttonIf you only look at a couple of websites today, I would urge you to read the story of Stephen Sutton.  It will bring tears to your eyes and make you realise that worrying and moaning about the little things is rather stupid… at least for a little while.

Stephen will soon die from cancer at the age of 19. He will have achieved more in the past few years while at the same time fighting cancer than a thousand of us will do in a lifetime. Just reading about him you can clearly see that he is an amazing person, but when you hear from everyone that has met him how he touched them, it’s inspiring.

So have a look at his site and especially the timeline and bucket list. If his story touches you and you are able to afford it, make a contribution.

You can also read the BBC news story about him here. At I press publish, his target of raising £10,000 has been passed, by about £2 million.

Yes, I’ve been following this story on the radio as well as on our regional TV. Makes one wish one could win the Lottery just to give a REALLY hefty donation.

Btw: Just in case you wish to keep it hush-hush and are not mentioning it in your blogs, hope you don’t mind if I here offer you HB and MHR for tomorrow.

Are you sure? I’ve just re-checked my chronological list and that’s what it says, so there you are! However, shall stay on my toes to look for ‘clues’ – either that or an outright declaration.
