The second incarnation of my blog

This week I have been…

Watchinga couple of films, starting with Le Gout des Autres a French film about business, but mainly about relationships and not pre-judging people. It gets 6/10 but was close to 7.  The second film was Remember Me, an Italian film about a very dysfunctional family. I would have given this 6 out of 10, but it gets downgraded just because the mother shouted hysterically all of the time, ruining many scenes, so it’s 5/10.

Eating… at one of our favourite restaurants for Mother’s day. It was only Pete’s mum as mine is in Cyprus, the lucky thing.

Working… all over the place this week, starting in London, then Edinburgh, then all over the home counties.

Listening… to a few new albums. I noticed on Amazon that 3 greatest hits packages for only £2.99 each for downloads. So I bought the best of The Kaiser Chiefs, Keane and Snow Patrol. That’s quite a lot of new music, so I had them on random as I drove to the south coast for an appointment. For the record, it was an unusual location for a meeting and possibly the worst work journey I’ve ever had.

Also listening… to a lot of Kate Bush after Pete secured tickets for her London residency.

Running… in my 27th Parkrun returning to Wimpole Hall where it all started just for some variety and it was also a beautiful sunny morning. They’ve changed the course slightly, but that hill is still there and it’s still a killer.

    What’s your favourite restaurant?
Also, do you listen to music while running? If you can listen to while running or read ‘born to run’. It’s incredible!

One of the best restaurants in town is called Bridge Street Bistro.

The music I listen to is either a mix I have made or a podcast called Podrunner.
