This week I have been…

Entertaining… our German friends, which wasn’t planned. The two ladies were meant to be travelling home on Saturday morning but missed their flight and so they spent a day and night with us. We have a lot to drink on Saturday afternoon, including cocktails and then I made a Lasagne. We had to get up very early to get to the airport, so today was a slow one.

Watching… a few films starting with The Smurfs 2 which isn’t as good as the first one, which I heartily recommend, but still quite funny – 6/10 for that one.  Watch a family called Frances Ha about a dancer in New York. She was very annoying and it scrapes a 5/10.  The best of the three films seen this week is The Company Men starring Ben Affleck. It’s about big companies just making staff redundant during the recession. It’s a bit depressing, but quite interesting – a 7/10.

Working… as the year begins to get back into gear.

I gave ‘Frances Ha’ a 6 – so we weren’t all that far apart.
Never saw ‘The Company Men’ which I don’t recall getting a general release.
