What is your greatest fear?
Apart from the irrational fear of spiders, getting old is now beginning to grow as a slight fear.

What is your earliest memory?
Sitting in a push chair in the rain probably around 2 years old.

Property aside, what’s the most expensive thing you’ve bought?
I bought a sports car a few years ago that seemed to eat money on repairs. I’m more of a saver than a spender and feel guilty when I waste money.

What would your super power be?
It would be cool (and slightly weird) to be invisible and stalk around a bit.

What makes you unhappy?
Being disappointed in myself.

What do you most dislike about your appearance?
A lack of hair.

If you could bring something extinct back to life, what would you choose?
The Beatles.

Who would play you in the film of your life?
Johnny Depp… obviously.

What is your favourite word?

What is your favourite book?
I haven’t found it yet.

What would be your fancy dress costume of choice?
I’ve not been to a fancy dress party for such a long time. A 70’s hippy would be cool… man.

Is it better to give or to receive?

What is your guiltiest pleasure?
Cheese and chocolate and porn. Not all at the same time… possibly.

Who would you invite to your dream dinner party?
Such an overused question and seems to depend of choosing people that will entertain the group. Isn’t a dinner party meant to be a place to relax and enjoy other people’s company?  I’ll pass on this one.

What is the worst job you’ve done?
I worked in the kitchen at a restaurant – cleaning horrible greasy equipment and customers plates and cutlery. It was definitely not me and I gave it up very quickly. I tend to think that the low-paid work harder than the higher paid, just with differing levels of stress.

If you could edit your past, what would you change?
Regret is a dangerous thing, but if I could have come out in my teens, I think I would have been happier. You really shouldn’t regret things, but learn from them instead – it’s easier said than done though.

How do you relax?
I just get lazy. I do lazy very well.

What single thing would improve the quality of your life?
A bigger kitchen!

Although an interesting MEME and I like your answers, I find it a bit negative if you know what I mean. Why ask about the worst job or what makes you unhappy? Why edit the past? Why not concentrate on more positive things?

This is one of the best Memes I’ve seen – and I’d do it myself if I could be bothered.

‘Earliest memories’ can be tricky even if one is trying to be honest. Yours is general enough to be believable, but some people’s may be ‘false memories’ implanted by suggestion at a later date. My own (also at the age of 2) was banging my head on a bunk bed metal ladder leading to the higher bed. But I can’t be absolutely sure it happened, or if someone later had told me it was so and my mind then created that ‘memory’.

The ‘Dream Dinner Party’ is always a good one, and can be very revealing about the person making the choice. Trouble is, a good answer would require one’s guests to be always on top form with their conversation. For instance, while one of my dream guests would be Woody Allen I can just see him so miffed at the strong expectation that he’d be there with bon mots constantly tumbling out, that he’d crawl into his shell and go silent. But it’s only a game anyway.
