Peter Gabriel – the O2 in London

Last night Pete and I were in London to watch Peter Gabriel at the O2. The main reason for the concert was to play his album ‘So’ in its entrirety.

Before that, there was a collection of other music, which started with 4 songs with the house lights up, which my Pete didn’t like at all. The idea was that the acoustic arrangements and approach were slightly rough and that fancy lights weren’t required. It sort-of worked, but was a bit odd. The performance was excellent throughout, though 2 long obscure songs (Secret World and The Family and the Fishing Net) were rather heavy going.

We had great seats…
